Rule of Chinese Pinyin：Pinyin system

"Pinyin is not Chinese character, 
pinyin is the tool to pronounce Chinese characters."

In order to let Chinese characters be easier to be read and learned.
The academics created the rules based on the romanization system in the 1950s.

We call the rules as  "漢語拼音[汉语拼音] hàn yǔ pīn yīn".

      Hello；你好；nǐ hǎo

※ Some initials and finals change their form when they exist alone.

1. The blue cells    → Initials

2. The red cells      → Finals
3. The empty cells → There is no Chinese character existing.
4. Column/row for "form with zero initial/final"  

  → Initial/final can be used alone as a word.

       (Some of them will change their form when they exist alone)
5. There are 5 tones in pinyin system.
