Chinese Knowledge│What is「ㄏㄏ」?
Sometimes ,you may see 「ㄏㄏ」in the sentences when you talk with Taiwanese on internet.
This is not the simplified Chinese characters「厂厂 chǎng chǎng」.
It should read as「哈哈 hā hā」or「嘿嘿 hēi hēi」.
It just indicates the voice for laughing or smelling.
Why is「ㄏㄏ」?
In Taiwan, people use zhu-yin system instead of pin-yin system to read Chinese characters.
「ㄏ」In zhu-yin system is same stuff with「h」in pinyin system.
＊「厂 chǎng 」is written as 「廠 」in traditional Chinese.
＊ 「注音 zhù yīn」system is created in 1919, people still use it in Taiwan as below picture.
